- MU Department of Music Mission Statement: The mission of the Department of Music at Muskingum University is to develop the student-musician and to provide a quality music program within a healthy environment. Within the scope of this mission, the department provides students with an aesthetic education through ensemble offerings, applied study, and music courses. - Shimmering Silver Flute Quartet is the premiere flute quartet at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Representing some of the finest talents of the flute studio, these student-professionals are directed, managed, and instructed by professor of flute, Alison Brown Sincoff and in 2012 by Dr. Angela Heck Mueller as Visiting Professor of Flute. Shimmering Silver is a multi-faceted organization, engaging in active community service, serving as a hirable agency available to perform for special occasions, and as an educational and competitive ensemble committed to excellence in performance.
- Chamber Music Woodwinds (MUS 254B/554B): Conduct other chamber ensembles in preparation for concerts and recitals. The OU course description reads as follows: “Students enrolled in chamber music will receive one hour of coaching per week for their chamber ensemble. They will also rehearse at least one hour a week outside of coaching and will prepare their parts individually. They will perform as an ensemble at least once per quarter.”

- Music of the World (MUS 181): The course ODU catalog reads as follows: “This course is an introduction to the music of the people of the World by examining the place of music in distilling culture and its importance in the way of life of the people of that culture. This course fosters a lifelong curiosity and a desire to experience and appreciate music in all its forms. The student will study the culture, instruments, musical elements, dominant attitude toward music creation and performance of each culture, while identifying the musical differences as well as the similarities between cultures. This course includes the study of music from Africa, Japan, India, Indonesia, and Native America. This course partially fulfills the Arts and Ideas requirement. - Popular Music in America (MUS 184): The ODU course catalog reads as follows: “This course is an introduction to the roots and history of popular music in America from the 1830’s to the present, and will include an examination of such popular styles as Jazz, Swing, Minstrelsy, Tin Pan Alley, Rock, Country, Latin, Rap, and Hip Hop. - At MTMS, we strive to instill a lifelong love of music performance in all our students. We do this by catering to the individual music education needs of each student and teaching with an enthusiasm that demonstrates our own lifelong love of music performance.
- Michelle Tuesday Music School offers one-on-one music lessons for adults and children; classes in piano, guitar, violin, drums, preschool music, songwriting, and drama; coaching and direction for bands, choirs and ensembles; and music summer day camps for children entering the 1st-12th grades.
- MTMS Flute Choir & Flute Ensembles: As stated on the MTMS website: “Flute choir consists of 6-12 students under the direction of Dr. Angela Heck Mueller. Rehearsals are 50 minutes once per week. Our Flute Choir performs several times a year for MTMS recitals and in other local performances.”
- MTMS Holiday Flute Festival: This festival is under the direction of Dr. Angela Heck Mueller and provides young flutists the opportunity to play in a flute ensemble for the annual MTMS Holiday Recitals.

- As Assistant Manager, responsibilities included oversight of the Michelle Tuesday Music School (MTMS) Computer Lab, direct supervision of Computer Lab Attendants, and indirect supervision of Music Instructors and Receptionists in the absence of direct supervision.
- Maintained the Computer Lab in a state of readiness for students instruction and suggested improvements.
- Scheduled and ensured Computer Lab Attendant coverage during hours of student Computer Lab instruction.
