Dr. Angela Heck Mueller enjoys an active career as an educator, solo flutist, orchestral and chamber musician, and collaborative artist in Columbus, Ohio. She is Manager of the Community Music School and oversees all Outreach and Engagement for the School of Music at The Ohio State University. As an orchestral musician, Dr. Heck Mueller plays third flute with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and third flute and piccolo for the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Heck Mueller received Bachelor of Music degrees cum laude from Ohio University in Flute Performance and Music Education, a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Flute Performance from the University of Oklahoma. Her teachers include Dr. Valerie Watts, Dr. John Bailey, Alison Brown Sincoff, and Catherine Keener Abner.
